Glenn Jocher revolutionized AI with his YOLO models including YOLOv5, YOLOv8, and YOLO11. With over 112k GitHub stars and more than 100 million pip downloads, his vision for accessible AI empowers users worldwide to tackle real-world problems.

Angus brings together Computer Vision and Gen AI workloads, specializing in LLMs, VLMs and AI Agents. Part of the Metropolis team working with start-ups, consultants, and developers for key partners. He has a PhD in Computational Nuclear Physics from the University of Bristol, with a focus on applying advanced computational methods to radiation modeling.

Adrian is the co-author of the LandCover.ai dataset, creator of the OpenCV Image Viewer Plugin, and a Deep Learning lecturer occasionally. His current role is to educate people about OpenVINO Toolkit.

Merve works at Hugging Face on computer vision and multimodality in the open-source team, developing open-source tools and lowering the barrier of entry to cutting-edge computer vision and multimodality. She's also authoring the book "Vision Language Models" published by O'Reilly.

Yuki Tsuji began his career as an analog circuit designer at Sony in 2004. He later led business strategy, expansion, and marketing across diverse image sensor applications. After assignments in the U.S. driving global growth, he now serves as General Manager of Product for Sony’s AITRIOS platform.

Alexis is the Chief Marketing Officer for Axelera AI and the General Manager of the Americas. Over a 20+ year career, Alexis has lived and worked on four continents across multiple disciplines, including software engineering in cloud, client & edge technologies, AI and deep learning frameworks, and product marketing.

Chang Liu is an engineer in the Artificial Intelligence group at AMD, where she explores features that accelerate LLM serving on AMD GPUs. She holds a master's degree in computer science from Cambridge. Her interest lies in enabling AI applications, including LLMs and computer vision, to run efficiently and robustly.

David Plowman is an engineer at Raspberry Pi specializing in camera systems, image processing software, algorithms and hardware. David is particularly interested in facilitating the development and deployment of cutting edge machine learning models across Raspberry Pi's edge-based vision and compute systems.

Steven is a Solutions Engineer at Axelera® AI, combining deep technical expertise in electronics, computer science, and machine learning with customer-facing insight. He partners with developers and enterprises to design scalable solutions while translating complex innovations into compelling narratives that make advanced AI accessible to organizations building breakthrough applications.

Dmitriy Pastushenkov is an experienced Software Product Manager at Intel with over 20 years of global experience in industrial automation, IIoT, real-time systems, and AI. Since joining Intel in 2022, he has focused on enabling smart edge technologies and currently works as a software product manager for OpenVINO and the AI PC Software Stack.

Amir Sherman has over 25 years of experience in the embedded and Edge AI industry. He spent nearly 20 years at Arrow Electronics, holding technical and senior leadership roles, then drove global business development for Edge Impulse in TinyML and Edge AI. Amir now leads EMEA Sales & Business Development at DEEPX, helping expand strategic partnerships and drive adoption of next-generation Edge AI solutions.

Michael (also known as Mike Likes Robots) is a robotics software engineer and content creator with 12 years of experience, including roles as a consultant and senior SDE at AWS. As an educator and Cloud Robotics Working Group lead, he helps turn robot ideas into reality by sharing knowledge across electronics, embedded systems, and the cloud.

Violet Su is a Business Development Manager at Seeed Studio, a tech company providing Edge AI and IoT hardware, along with customization services for various applications. In her role, Violet explores, fosters, and strengthens partnerships across industries, communities, and academia.

Jiri Borovec is a Kaggle Notebooks Master, open-source leader, and top PyTorch Lightning committer. His research background stems from computer vision, and his expertise spans scalable deep learning and reproducible AI, bridging research and practical deployment through collaborative projects and hands-on mentoring.

Oisin Lunny is an award-winning marketer, event MC, podcast host, speaker, UX professor, and former contributor to Forbes and The Guardian. A veteran of global tech firms, he now helps great people and companies tell their best stories via events and podcasts. He also DJs on Brighton's Slack City Radio.

Attending in person allows you to immerse yourself in the event atmosphere, interact with speakers and fellow attendees, and participate in networking sessions. It's a unique opportunity to engage directly with the vision AI community.
Don't worry! You can catch up on the sessions you missed through our on-demand video content after the event. The recordings will be available on our YouTube and Bilibili channels after the event.
Yes, there will be opportunities to ask questions during Q&A sessions for both in-person and virtual attendees at the end of each session.
We'll kick the day off at The Pelligon with registration and coffee. The morning features a series of talks, followed by a lunch break. After lunch, we'll dive back into more sessions. To cap off YV25, join us for an afterparty at The Pelligon!
Tickets for the in-person edition of YV25 are $150. If you book by August 31, you can get $50 off with our early-bird tickets. If you are joining us virtually, the ticket is free. We also offer free tickets to students who provide a valid university email address.
