Ultralytics YOLO Vision 2026: Everything you need to know

Ultralytics YOLO Vision 2026 (YV26) returns on September 13, 2026, bringing the global vision AI community together in Shenzhen and online.

This is our annual hybrid event for enterprise leaders, founders, engineers, researchers, students, and open-source contributors. It is where breakthrough research meets practical deployment, new technology is introduced live, and the people building with vision AI exchange what they have learned.

This year’s theme is Open vision, built for the real world.

It reflects Ultralytics’ belief that the future of vision AI should be accessible, collaborative, and designed to deliver meaningful results beyond the lab. From new model architectures and visual capabilities to production systems operating across industries, YV26 will explore the entire journey from an idea to real-world impact.

Hosted in London and Shenzhen and streamed worldwide, Ultralytics YOLO Vision 2025 (YV25) brought together a truly global community.

More than 15,000 people joined online, while 500 attendees participated in person across both cities. Enterprise leaders, founders, engineers, researchers, and open-source contributors connected across borders and time zones to share technical insights, deployment experiences, and new ideas.

YV25 featured sessions from NVIDIA, Intel, Raspberry Pi, AMD, Hugging Face, Axelera AI, DEEPX, and many more. The agenda explored model development, hardware acceleration, multimodal AI, low-power vision systems, responsible AI, and real-world applications.

The event also gave the community an early look at two technologies that would help define the next chapter of Ultralytics: Ultralytics YOLO26 and Ultralytics Platform.

Founder and CEO Glenn Jocher took the stage to introduce Ultralytics YOLO26, the next generation of the Ultralytics YOLO model family.

YOLO26 was designed to be smaller, faster, more accurate, and simpler to deploy. Its native end-to-end, NMS-free architecture reduces post-processing complexity, while CPU inference improvements of up to 43% help teams run capable vision AI across a wider range of hardware.

The announcement demonstrated what Ultralytics YOLO has always aimed to deliver: advanced vision AI that remains practical, efficient, and accessible to builders everywhere.

YV25 also featured the first public demonstration of Ultralytics Platform, the end-to-end environment for building and managing vision AI.

Ultralytics Platform connects data, annotation, training, deployment, and monitoring in one workspace. Instead of moving between disconnected tools, teams can manage more of the computer vision lifecycle through a unified experience designed for both individual developers and enterprise teams.

Together, Ultralytics YOLO26 and Ultralytics Platform set the stage for a year focused on making powerful vision AI easier to build, deploy, and improve.

YV26 marks the fifth edition of YOLO Vision and our second time bringing the event to Shenzhen, China.

This year’s theme represents more than open technology. It is about opening access to advanced visual intelligence, encouraging collaboration across the ecosystem, and building systems capable of solving meaningful problems in real environments.

Open vision means bringing together the models, tools, research, knowledge, and community that enable progress.

Built for the real world means moving beyond controlled demonstrations. It means addressing the data, hardware, reliability, integration, safety, and operational requirements that determine whether vision AI succeeds in practice.
